Common questions
How is this different from coaching?
A coach asks questions and helps you find your own answers. I do that too — but I also give you direct opinions, challenge assumptions, and tell you when I think you're heading the wrong way. That is only useful if the person doing it has actually run businesses.
What kinds of things do people bring to sessions?
Pricing decisions, hiring, marketing strategy, whether to kill a product line, cash flow, team issues, and 'should I even keep doing this' moments. Anything that is genuinely weighing on you as a business owner.
How long do I need to commit?
There is no minimum. But in my experience, one session is rarely enough to get real traction. Most people get meaningful results within 3 sessions. After that, continue month by month, cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
Will you give me homework?
Only what you commit to yourself during the session. I will hold you to what you say you will do. If you never follow through, we will talk about why.
Is this right for someone who is just starting out?
It can be — but the more honest answer is that mentoring delivers the most value when you already have a business with real challenges. If you are pre-revenue, the 7 Reasons guide or mastermind might be a better fit first.
